A graduate of the Royal College of Art, Richard Conn joined Stuart Devlin Silversmiths for a short period before setting up Richard Conn Jewellery, a design and jewellery manufacture business specialising in one off commissions and batch produced designs for retailers including Harrods, Dunhill International, Gucci and The Design Council.

He would go on to a successful career in industrial design consultancy, working in collaboration with leading architects and graphic designers on a wide range of major projects involving exterior and interior elements, environmental graphics, signs and wayfinding.

Now retired from design consultancy and based in South Somerset, Richard has returned to the design and manufacture of handmade gold and silver jewellery, using modern techniques alongside century-old traditional hand tools and a watchmaker’s lathe inherited from his father.
